An encrusted Cockscomb Oyster has made its home on a multi-colored gorgonian (or sea fan). The sea fan polyps are retracted, otherwise the fans would have a "fuzzy" look. A large, dark comatulid crinoid is perched on the upper part of the sea fan. Oyster identification: Lopha cristagalli
