reef scene #15

A large soft coral is obscured by a school of baitfish. Soft corals, baitfish, jigsaw clams, encrusting sponges and corals, tube sponges-- all seduce the senses as you drift with the currents, looking up to the edge of the reef wall.  Hundreds or perhaps thousands of fish manage to keep a certain safe distance, reacting in unison to your every move, changing direction instantly, as though they are all telepathically linked.

Our best dreams are primed by these memories-- weightless, drifting, relaxed-- immersed in scenes of fantastic imagery. Thank goodness for the aqualung!
