Glossodoris atromarginata nudibranch [50k]

This member of family Chromodorididae is fairly abundant. As with the other Glossodoris nudibranchs, it has a thick body and swollen, undulating mantle edge-- in this case emphasized with a dark line. This one is about 1 1/2 inches in length, and has its gills slightly retracted, though the rhinophores appear to be fully extended.

Identification: Glossodoris atromarginata
